Dem Rep Chews Up Minutes In Hearing To Lecture Mother Of Fentanyl Victim On The Border

Democratic New York Rep. Dan Goldman addressed a mother who lost her daughter to fentanyl during Thursday's House Homeland Security hearing.

Goldman told Dunn and another mother who lost her daughter in a border-related incident: “You're here to share your story, but you're not a fact witness in an impeachment inquiry.'' In a sense, I would like to apologize for being used as such.” “And obviously, given your previous experience, you don't have the background to understand what a high crime or misdemeanor is and how it relates. I hope you will.”

“If we had more law enforcement officers at the border and more resources and technology to stop fentanyl from coming into this country, that would help stop fentanyl trafficking and trafficking from coming into this country. “Don't you agree?'' he asked Dan. “Do you agree with that?”

“I disagree with that opinion because the Border Patrol is currently being used to make sandwiches and to test people and allow them into our country. He went on to say that all of the top Department of Homeland Security (DHS) officials that Congress met with said, “It would be beneficial to provide more resources at the border to stop fentanyl, and that's what President Biden is doing. “That's exactly what happened,” he said. ”

Tammy Nobles, whose 20-year-old daughter Kayla Hamilton was murdered by a suspected MS-13 member in July 2022, said: file a lawsuit paid DHS $100 million to release him to the United States.
