Democrat New York Sen. Chuck Schumer is like a rattling shark cage man with wide open femoral arteries, sunk deep inside the ocean, not surrounded by starving fish.
It’s kind of a dramatic direct mile, but looking at the new polls at Siena University, it doesn’t look particularly rosy to the Senate minority leader, to say the least. Schumer’s approval rate was 39%, the lowest among New York voters in 20 years, according to the survey. release Tuesday. (Subscribe to Mr. Right, a weekly newsletter on modern masculinity)
Meanwhile, Democrat New York State Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is gaining popularity. According to a Siena College poll, leftist lawmakers are 47% of state voters compared to January 2021 when they held a 38% approval rate.
For Schumer, April is certainly the cruelest month. A recent poll showed that only 23% of voters viewed Schumer positively, while 51% of respondents said they viewed New York Democrats at a disadvantage. At the beginning of April, Opinion survey The progress of left-leaning data farm data shows that Ocasio-Cortez led Schumer 19 points in the 2028 virtual showdown for the Senate New York Primary.

The timing didn’t get worse. The Democratic base wanted elected officials to take an offensive approach to President Donald Trump and his second administration, but Schumer rolled over a Republican-raised government fundraising bill in March, spurring anger from many left-wing Democrats, including Ocasio-Cortez. Young, ambitious democratic sharks will soon circle Schumer if they are not already. Ocasio-Cortez may turn to presidential tickets in 2028, but if she chooses, she will bring Schumer to his hands in the Senate primary.
It’s only a matter of time before someone attacks.
