Denver Broncos Land Two Safeties In One Game, Hasn’t Been Seen In Nearly A Decade

The Denver Broncos faced off against the Seattle Seahawks in their season opener and the Broncos defense was magical, scoring not one but two safeties, both of which came in the first half.

Denver recorded its first safety. Second Quarter With Seattle at its own 1-yard line, the guards, while in the end zone, Anthony Bradford They lost two points after a holding foul.

Later in the quarter, Seattle again had the ball at their own 1-yard line. The Seahawks running back Zach Charbonnet He created space, but was tackled by the Broncos before he could cross the goal line and taken down in the end zone.

It was the first time since 2017 that a team (the Miami Dolphins) recorded two safeties in a game.

How on earth could this happen if you're the Seattle Seahawks?

Allowing one safety is bad enough, but two?! (Lucky to win!) (RELATED: New York Giants' Daniel Jones throws one of the most egregious pick-six interceptions we've ever seen)

But overall I'm happy. The Dolphins won, my fantasy football team won, I won a few bets, and I'm good.
