I wasn’t expecting that…
Detroit Pistons head coach JB Bickerstaff absolutely erupted following a contest with Oklahoma City lightning due to feelings taken by the game’s referees.
The 46-year-old Vickerstaff lost control of his temper at one point and slammed the table with his fist while talking to the press after Detroit 113-107 Defeat Against the Thunder. And boy, a boy, what a sight, and not a good way. (Related: Lakers’ Bronnie James closes Heckler with a totally three-word response)
“I didn’t like what I saw tonight,” Bickerstaff said. “It was a disgusting display of disrespect for our people and what we were trying to do.”
“I tried to have a conversation with the officials, the officials are arguing. [Thunder coach] mark [Daigneault]. I say his name once, and he screams at me and tells me that it’s enough,” Bickerstaff added.
“We play the physical ball style and understand that it’s on the edge. I coach my ass in a passionate way. I’m interested in the game, and our players are obsessed with the game. We understand that. But we deserve a level of respect because we compete in the tail and bring something positive to this league.”

I’m hoping for a fine from the NBA of 5, 4, 3, 2, 1… you know it’s certainly coming.
