Disturbing Video Appears To Show Reality Star Mike Shouhed Tossing His Fiancee Around In Brutal Attack

On Thursday, a video was released showing “Shares of Sunset” star Mike Shahed violently choking and manhandling his then-fiancée.

Shocking footage of an incident that allegedly occurred in 2022, According to To TMZ. The photo appeared to show Shahed approaching his then-fiancée Paulina Bencoen from behind, grabbing her by the hair and throwing her to the ground, causing a clothing rack to fall on top of her. The video appears to show Shouhed choking, choking and fingering Ben Cohen.

A judge on Tuesday ordered Schohe, who was charged with assault and battery in 2022, to participate in a one-year mental health diversion program, the paper reported. The judge also issued an order of protection against Ben Cohen, ordering him not to threaten Shohed or engage in any coercion or violence.

Other video snippets include footage shot in a children’s playroom where Shaud grabs Ben Cohen from behind, puts his arm around her throat and throws her across the room. It is believed that he suffocated her while doing so. Ben Cohen appears to be defending himself by punching and slapping people.

Ben Cohen claimed that she and her live-in nanny contacted law enforcement after Shahed went to retrieve the firearm. The newspaper said police found visible marks on Ben Cohen’s body and arrested Shahed.

Court documents say the city attorney’s office has appealed part of Shahed’s sentence, so he is now only in the diversion program, the paper reported.

Ben Cohen claimed that Shahed had previously physically assaulted her.

Ben Cohen has filed a civil lawsuit against Shohed, charging him with assault, battery, sexual battery and intentional infliction of emotional distress, the paper said. She also sued him in early 2024.

Shahed’s lawyer, George Mughdessian, issued a statement regarding the video.

“This is not the entire video,” he told TMZ.

“The argument started in the living room. My client was trying to stop her from yelling because the children were asleep,” Shahed’s lawyer continued. “My client didn’t want people to smoke in the house because he has a child with health issues and it’s not in the client’s best interest.” (Related: Report: Police arrest Clint Eastwood’s daughter)

“The video shows my client trying to calm her down and then he gets behind her and tells her not to scream. There is more to it than there is, and this is why my clients are getting distractions,” he said.
