Authorities said the boy was found Tuesday morning.
SELIGMAN, Ariz. – A two-year-old Yavapai County boy is safe after he said he left home overnight.
The boy’s parents reported missing Monday night after disappearing from Seligman’s home, according to the Yabapai County Sheriff’s Office.
Officials believe the boy walked seven miles over the territory of the Mountain Lion overnight.
He was eventually found at Kingman’s ranch. There, his owner’s dog, Buford, helped him.
The boy told the rancher that he slept under the tree overnight.
The helicopter used in the boy’s search reported seeing two mountain lions during the search.
