GILABEND, Arizona — The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a domestic dispute in Gilabend that left one dead overnight Wednesday.
Officers were reportedly summoned to a residence in the area around 2:20 a.m. Authorities said one person was “severely stabbed” and a suspect was taken into custody.
MCSO officials have confirmed the murder of one of their associates, and homicide detectives at the office are investigating the details of the killing.
Officials expect more information later in the day. Authorities have not identified anyone involved at this time.
