The project is expected to be completed by Friday, June 28th.

The work will result in the closure of six to eight parking spaces in the northwest corner of the Downtown Library parking lot.

Dredging removes overgrown vegetation and excess sediment, increasing water flow capacity as the city enters the monsoon season. The City's Stormwater Management Division actively maintains 24.8 miles of major urban rivers and streams, as well as 112 natural streams, ditches, swales and small streams.
