YAVAPAI COUNTY, Ariz. — A suspected drunk driver was arrested in Yavapai County over the weekend with his finger stuck in a White Claw can, authorities said.

The Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office announced that the arrest was made Nov. 23. The video of the incident Published on Facebook.
Deputies observed a driver, whose name has not been released, traveling on Iron Springs Road. The driver “veered off the road at the bridge and struck a guardrail, causing damage and blocking the roadway,” the sheriff’s office said in a news release.
When the deputy approached the vehicle, the driver was found with the fingers of his right hand stuck inside a can of White Claw.
“What did you get on your finger there?” asked the deputy. “White nails?”
“So, what’s going on, okay?” the deputy continued.
“I’m absolutely perfect,” the driver replied.
“Are you sure you’re okay?” the deputy asked again.
The driver was the only person in the vehicle, the sheriff’s office said.
According to the sheriff’s office, the driver is charged with:
- Minor drunk driving
- drunk driving
- extreme drunk driving
- Extreme drunk driving
- Danger per domestic violence
- YC Criminal damage to public works projects
“We are very fortunate that no one was injured or killed by this driver,” the sheriff’s office said.
