A balanced attack helped Tuba City outscore Deer Valley in each quarter en route to Friday’s victory. The Tuba City Warriors defeated the Deer Valley Skyhawks with a 53-29 victory. The Warriors pushed the score to 44-24 by the end of the third inning, but it was a point deficit that the Skyhawks had little hope of recovering from.
Tuba City was led to victory by Eliana Begay and Torres Tsingine. Begay had 16 points and six steals, while Tsingine scored 5 of 9 points and had 11 points with six rebounds and six steals. Begay has been in the spotlight lately, stealing at least two bases in each of his past four plays. The team scored five goals thanks to Nakota Tolman.

Tuba City smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive boards. This strong performance is nothing new for the team. They have now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in seven straight games.
