Eight teenagers have been arrested after a 16-year-old boy was stabbed to death in England, authorities have said.
The incident happened on Saturday just after 11pm in Bath. Police arrived on the scene minutes after the stabbing was called, but the 16-year-old died before paramedics arrived, BBC News reported. report. A 35-year-old woman was also stabbed in the alleged attack, but the wound healed and she was discharged from the hospital, the newspaper said. “This is a tragic incident and our thoughts this morning are with the family of the deceased boy,” Chief Inspector Ronald Lung of the Bath District Team told the magazine. Lungu told reporters he had already contacted the victim’s family and said they were “understandably devastated” upon hearing the news.
