Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office officials said the man fell into the ocean after suffering health problems.
Maricopa County, Arizona — An elderly man died Saturday afternoon after falling into Bartlett Lake, Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office officials reported.
Authorities said the man had health problems before the fall. The family, with the help of other citizens and first responders, were able to lift him out of the water and administer CPR.

The man was taken back to a nearby dock and pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel.
At this time, it is unknown whether the man died from drowning or from the aforementioned medical problems.
