Elite Stars Reportedly Secretly Shelling Out Big Bucks For Private Firefighters To Protect Their Homes

The rich and famous reportedly pay large sums of money to private firefighters to protect their multimillion-dollar homes.

Los Angeles’ millionaires are said to be spending more than $2,000 an hour to hire firefighters to protect their properties as raging wildfires consume parts of the city. According to Daily Mail. Strong opinions are forming about those who are taking extra steps to ensure their assets are protected amidst the devastating fires, and about the companies that are allegedly profiting from the crisis. Chris Dunn, owner of Covered 6, a private company that caters to elites, said business is strong.

“My phone keeps ringing. The demand is higher than ever,” he told the Daily Mail.

Wealthy sources told the Daily Mail that they use such services.

Wildfire Defense Systems is one of many private organizations hired to fight fires on properties protected by insurance companies and wealthy elites. These companies also contract with governments to increase their numbers and resources.

There are several other private fire companies in California, including Mt. Adams Wildfire and UrbnTek. The company provides customers, including governments, with fire retardants that are applied to trees and brush to stop fires from spreading. This provides “double protection by wrapping the structure with our fire blanket system.”
