Elko Indians vs. Flagstaff Eagles

The Elko Indians and Flagstaff Eagles will close out the year against each other Thursday at 6 p.m.

Elko will likely enter this contest with a shoulder injury, considering Pyramid Lake just ended the team’s winning streak at three on Friday. They fell short, losing 57-37 to the Lakers. For those keeping track at home, this is the Indians’ biggest loss since Feb. 2.

Meanwhile, there’s no place like home for Flagstaff, which is bouncing back from last Saturday’s road loss. They easily won Monday’s matchup, defeating Lee Williams 49-16. The Eagles have a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, and have now won five games this season by 25 points or more.

Flagstaff’s fourth straight home win improved their record to 7-4. They dominated in that section as well, winning by an average margin of 39.5 points. As for Elco, the loss dropped his record to 3 wins and 3 losses.
