Elon Musk announced Wednesday that he has moved SpaceX's “incorporated status” to Texas.
musk Posted Image of letter acknowledging and accepting the submission from Texas Secretary of State Jane Nelson. The company plans to relocate from Delaware, and Musk encouraged other companies to do the same “as soon as possible.”
“SpaceX has moved its state of incorporation from Delaware to Texas!” Musk said on X (formerly Twitter). “If your company is still incorporated in Delaware, we recommend moving to another state as soon as possible.”

Finance Minister Catherine St. Jude McCormick ruled on January 30 that electric car company Tesla's board failed to provide sufficient justification for the $56 billion payment to Mr. Musk. This award was challenged by the stockholders under Delaware law. according to on court documents.

The Department of Justice filed a lawsuit against SpaceX in August, alleging discrimination against refugees and asylum seekers.
SpaceX did not immediately respond to a request for comment from the Daily Caller News Foundation.
