What a weak way to extend such a historic winning streak…
Chicago Sky Superstar Angel Reese By the end of Wednesday's game, he had increased his double-double streak to 14. 78-69 While the win against the Atlanta Dream was nice, her record-breaking streak in the WNBA ended in thoroughly embarrassing fashion.
Teammate's block Marina MabryReese was quickly passed the ball and was fouled with 6.4 seconds left.
So why the quick toss? Reese was literally begging for the ball. (RELATED: Sky's owner presents Angel Reese with comically weak cake after breaking consecutive double-double record)
Competitor Caitlin Clark recorded a double-double on her first free throw attempt, finishing with 11 points and 13 rebounds to lead the Sky to a 9-12 record.
She passed the legendary Candace Parker on Sunday as the longest-playing double-double holder in WNBA history (though Candace had the better looks, hands down).
Those are all great things, but look how she begged for balls to make all of this happen…no shame at all.

Try harder, Angel. This isn't good.
