Talk about backfire.

You can't blame Eminem for showing up loud and proud to Sunday's game between the Detroit Lions and the San Francisco 49ers. It's been a hell of a season for Dan Campbell's team, it's been a magical season.

The 51-year-old legendary rapper, a member of Detroit royalty, showed up at Levi's Stadium fully decked out in Lions merchandise and also left a simple message for opposing 49ers fans: “Fuck you.” Eminem hit the San Francisco faithful with not one, but two middle fingers in a true blaze of glory. And apparently this exchange happened between Em and a Niners fan all night long.

It's too bad all of this completely blew up in Eminem's face as Detroit jumped out to a commanding 24-7 lead by halftime, but faltered in the second half and suffered a blowout loss. A crushing defeat 34-31.

I'm not really into Eminem now. I was a huge fan of his when I was younger, and I think if the Lions had won this game, I would have given him props for the iconic moment.

But after that terrifying explosion?

Hell, I left it in the fridge for a month and it ripened like raw vegetables.

You're still a legend, Em, I used to bang your music like crazy. I miss those “Eminem Show” days.

But damn, dude, you took your big ass to L with this one – rough!
