Under the new rules, migrants staying at each of these four respite centers must check in every night at 11 p.m. EST and remain there until at least 6 a.m., the newspaper said. Immigrants who violate the rule three times within a month can be expelled from respite centers, but exceptions are made for those with work or school obligations or important commitments.
