It’s time to sell, Disney. There are already too many.
Following New Orleans, Louisiana was also hit by a catastrophe. Islamic State (ISIS)-related terrorist attacks Early on New Year’s Day, the Sugar Bowl between Notre Dame and Georgia State was postponed. 24 hours. Before Thursday’s game, organizers held a moment of silence for the casualties, followed by a chilling climax as Fighting Irish and Bulldogs fans united in chants of “USA.” (Related article: Allstate CEO Thomas Wilson dragged out for completely ignorant comments before Sugar Bowl)
Unless it’s ESPN, that was one of those moments that made me really proud to be an American. The Four Letter Network, which broadcast the Sugar Bowl exclusively, did not broadcast a moment of silence or chants of “USA.” To my surprise, the national anthem wasn’t even played!
And Americans, including myself, were completely outraged by this.
Look at this!
ESPN didn’t even sing the national anthem, they didn’t broadcast any memorials, memorials, or moments of silence! We have never seen anything even like the great national anthem sung to unite our country and honor those who have died.

Really ESPN? No national anthem and moment of silence for the victims of the New Orleans jihadist terrorist attack??! There is no excuse for that.
Disney’s CEO needs to stand up for himself and demand a complete restructuring of the entire network. Otherwise, you need to sell now.
