‘Everybody Likes Him’: Mark Halperin Calls JD Vance’s Vice Presidency ‘Unprecedented In Our Time’

Political analyst Mark Halperin said Vice President J.D. Vance’s tenure is significantly different from other vice presidents in the “modern” era.

In the early weeks of President Donald Trump’s second term, Vance demonstrated that he was the most active vice president since former vice president Dick Cheney took office. “We never know what’s going to happen. He could crash and burn. Trump could have faced him, but he’d never – Don Jr., and [Daily Caller News Foundation co-founder] Tucker [Carlson] Halperin said. “So, if you see modern history, an influential vice president who had a great relationship with the president, you can see Algore, the tension and super-sway between the staff and the ability to become a team player as well as your own person. You can see Cheney.”

“This is unprecedented in our time, what’s going on now? His influence and the fact that everyone likes him. And he knows his lane,” he continued. “There’s no risk of what happened in Gore. I want to start my own political tactics. There was no risk of what happened in Cheney, or Cheney masking the president in a way after 9/11. Similarly, this is unprecedented as to what is happening here. And he has proven to be very skilled.”

Vance is responsible for issues such as finding a contract to save Tiktok from a nationwide ban, responsibly relating to European elites, and using Senate relations to help key cabinet candidates advance. He is also actively advocating for the interests of the Trump administration, defending the president’s agenda once again as the chief spokesman for the great American spokesman (MAGA) movement.

“Vance has credibility with many of these senators, at least a radar of how they see things and can inform the White House in terms of their own legislative strategy. Republican strategist Scott Jennings previously told the Daily Call News Foundation. “Obviously, communication is open and there’s also a behind-the-scenes legislative strategy. That was a great choice for Trump.”

Podcast host Joe Rogan praised Vance in January following his CBS news Interview Host Margaret Brennan is known as “surprising” and “master class,” and believes the Vice President is fighting Brennan’s topic competently. Vance appeared in “Face the Nation” on January 26th, where he faced questions from Brennan about issues such as economy and immigration.

“He’s amazing. I’d like to thank that man to God,” Logan said. “He dismantled those drugs and was just broken and he’s very good. She was like, ‘This is a country built by immigrants.’ He said, “Yes, that doesn’t mean we have to make the most stupid immigration policy possible in 240 years.”
