‘Everyone Is … Dead’: Weatherman Has Hilarious Reaction To Forecast Typo

A weather forecaster in Texas laughed out loud at a typo on his screen that showed temperatures in the hundreds of thousands of degrees in a city.

While examining the WFAA’s Wednesday evening weather forecast, chief meteorologist Pete Delcas said: commented About how people living in the city of McKinney “die” due to temperatures reportedly of 101,105 degrees.

As Derkas read the temperature off the screen, he looked twice and asked what it was.

“McKinney’s temperature right now, the heat index is 10,000. What’s that? ‘It was hot in McKinney,’ said McKinney, before commenting, ‘There were 101,105 people.’

“I thought I was on maternity leave,” Derkas said, jokingly saying his colleague Jesse Hawira may have been responsible for the temperature error.

States such as Texas, Mississippi, Louisiana and California have been hit by heatwaves this summer, with heat advisories and extreme heat warnings issued in some areas.

Corpus Christi, Texas, set a record temperature of 125 degrees Celsius on June 17, according to. texas tribune. Cities such as San Angelo and Del Rio also saw temperatures above 110 degrees Celsius, according to the report. NBC News.

“Maybe McKinney’s has a heat index of about 105,” Delkas speculated, adding that he would correct the typo.
