A man died Thursday on a plane as passengers watched his face bleed.
Travelers on a Lufthansa flight bound for Germany were horrified at around midnight when they witnessed blood suddenly spilling from the mouth and nose of a sick 63-year-old man. according to To the Swiss German outlet Blick.
“It was absolutely terrifying,” said Martin Misfelder, who is married to a nurse and was on the plane.

Karin Misfelder, a nursing specialist at Zurich University Hospital, noticed that the man was “breathing too fast” and was sweating “coldly” and told a flight attendant to seek medical attention, the paper said. . A young Polish man reportedly handled the situation by feeling the sick passenger's pulse and asking how he was feeling.
“They gave him some chamomile tea, but he was already vomiting blood into the bag that his wife had given him,” Martin Misfelder told the magazine.
According to the paper, flight attendants performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation on the bleeding passenger for about 30 minutes. Knowing that resuscitation attempts were futile, the nurse said the plane became “extremely quiet” after the captain declared the man dead. The newspaper said the nurse said the wife of the man who died on the Airbus A380 said her husband became unwell as they rushed to catch the plane.
The man's body was taken to the aircraft's galley, and the plane turned around and landed in Thailand at 8:28 a.m. Friday. According to the newspaper, the passenger waited for two hours in Hong Kong before booking another flight to Germany.
“I should have intervened, but I didn't want to because I could see the doctors caring for him,” the nurse said. “The man looked so bad that I don't understand why the captain took off.”
