The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) confirmed with daily callers that Kilmar Abrego García, a member of the recently deported MS-13, was suspended in December 2022 on suspicion of human trafficking.
On December 1, 2022, it was discovered that Abrego Garcia was transporting eight passengers nationwide during a traffic stop by a Tennessee Highway Patrol Officer. I told the source Tennessee Star. He reportedly did not have a valid driver’s license and was suspected of trafficking a passenger, but was let go at the request of the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
Documents from home surveys provided to daily callers reveal details about the encounter.
Documents say Abrego Garcia was handed over as the vehicle was observed to be “speeding and unable to maintain lanes.” Abrego Garcia had an expired Maryland “limited term temporary driver’s license.” This is being offered to individuals who are not US citizens, authorities said.
Officers identified eight other individuals in the vehicle, and Abrego Garcia advised that he was driving them from Texas to Maryland, according to documents. Authorities said none of the passengers had any luggage and they provided addresses of the same home, all of which were Abrego Garcia’s addresses.
Abrego Garcia is said to have pretended to speak less English than he is capable, and he attempted to confuse the officers by answering his own questions to the officers.
Abrego Garcia also said the vehicle owner was his “boss” and works in construction.
Officers tried to gather details about other passengers, but documents said they were unable to read the handwritten notes, and Abrego Garcia was given a warning about driving under an expired license.
The DHS also advised the callers that Abrego García is on the Threat Screening Centre’s cross-border organized crime watchlist.
The Department of Justice (DOJ) released a gangfield interview sheet on Wednesday, containing evidence that Abrego Garcia is a member of MS-13. Two immigration judges denied Abrego Garcia Bond at a 2019 hearing, confirming the government’s claim that he is MS-13, citing him as a potential danger to the community. Abrego Garcia was given withholding for removal by another immigration judge. In other words, he could not be deported to El Salvador due to concerns about persecution by MS-13 rival gangster Barrio 18. The Trump administration said they made an “administrative error” when Abrego Garcia was taken to El Salvador. He is currently in custody at the country’s CECOT prison.
