EXCLUSIVE: NRSC Launches Ads Slamming Tester, Manchin, Brown Over Denying Veterans 2nd Amendment Rights

The National Republican Senate Committee (NRSC) will launch three separate ads targeting three Democratic senators who vote for President Joe Biden’s administration and Democrats in Congress over the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) pistol rigging rules that are said to affect veterans.

The NRSC’s latest ad campaign, first obtained by The Daily Caller, accuses Senators John Tester of Montana, Joe Manchin of West Virginia, and Sherrod Brown of Ohio for voting with Biden to support new ATF pistol rigging rules that Republicans claim will make it harder for wounded veterans to safely and effectively exercise their right to bear and bear arms.

Republican lawmakers and veterans’ groups are trying to fight the ATF after it enacted a rule making it illegal for certain unlicensed individuals to wear pistol stabilizers. The rule opens firearm owners with the potential for felony charges for failing to register their firearm with a stabilizer, and Republican lawmakers have argued it has a direct impact on wounded veterans. The NRSC and Republicans argue that this makes it difficult for wounded veterans to safely and effectively exercise their right to bear and bear arms.
