Notre Dame and Ohio State will clash in the national championship game Monday night, which will conclude Game 1. 12 team playoffs in the history of college football.
When it came to the College Football Playoff, neither the Fighting Irish nor the Buckeyes entered the game as favorites. However, by fighting through the competition, they were able to qualify for the title match. And now we’re witnessing what’s going to be one hell of a game at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.

Four players in particular – Notre Dame’s quarterback; riley leonardOhio State quarterback Will Howardthe Buckeyes are running treveillon henderson and OSU wide receiver Emeka Egbuka — In the lead-up to the national championship, everyone talked about God and their faith in Him.
“I truly believe that things happen for a reason, not only for us, but for Ohio State as well,” Leonard recently told the media, according to Sports Michiana. I don’t know if it’s a teaching or not.
“I truly believe that Jesus was watching over our shoulders during this time. [whole] There’s a reason we put these two teams on a pedestal during the season. ”
Riley Leonard feels that Notre Dame and Ohio St. are the two teams that have shown the most public faith.

After the come-from-behind victory over Oregon in the Rose Bowl, Howard talked about his beliefs.
“First and foremost, I have to thank my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, for giving me the opportunity to stand on this stage at the Rose Bowl,” Howard told ESPN. fox news. “When I was younger, I would be in awe now.”
In an interview with Sports Spectrum, Egbuka spoke about his faith while the regular season was still in progress, saying his faith in God influences his performance on the podium.
“I think the last few years we’ve had a situation where we’ve had a number of players on our football team who have come back to faith in Jesus Christ. That was a big thing for me as a freshman.”
In another interview sports spectrumHenderson said he relied on his faith after getting injured after an NIL contract and a Grade A freshman season that featured a lot of success.
“He saved my life from walking down the path of destruction. I see people walking down that path of great destruction, and I am so grateful that Jesus rescued me from that path and led me to His path.”
