“Beverly Hills, 90210” actress Shannen Doherty shared a poignant video of herself undergoing brain radiation therapy on Tuesday.
Doherty, 52, has opened up about the mental and physical challenges she’s faced as she continues her battle with cancer. “On Jan. 5, a CT scan showed me to have METs in my brain,” she said. I have written Her Instagram video caption reads: “yesterday [sic] A video showed the process of putting on a mask that is worn during radiation to the brain. “
The clip, which captures a medical experience, showed Doherty’s full face and head covered by a mask. Tears were visibly streaming from her eyes as her doctors prepared her for treatment.

“On January 12th, the first dose of radiation was given,” Doherty continued. “My fears are clear. I’m extremely claustrophobic and I’ve had a lot in my life.”
Doherty was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015. according to CBS news. By 2016, the cancer had spread to his lymph nodes, after which he underwent eight rounds of chemotherapy and radiation. After she went into remission in 2017, the actress revealed her breast cancer had returned in 2020, and she said, “She’s stage 4.” report at the time.

“I am fortunate to have such a wonderful doctor as Dr. Amin Milady and a wonderful technician at Cedar Sinai. [sic]’ she wrote.
She left fans with something to think about before signing out.
“But that fear…” Confusion… all the timing…. This is what cancer looks like,” concluded Dougherty.
