Romanian authorities arrested rapper Wiz Khalifa on drug charges on Saturday, Deadline reported.
Khalifa, known for his outspoken stage shows and marijuana advocacy, ran into legal trouble at the Beach Please festival in Romania, where he was allegedly caught smoking marijuana onstage after performing. according to Romania's Department of Combating Organized Crime and Terrorism (DIICOT) then charged him with possession of illegal drugs, Deadline reported.

“The prosecutor of the Constanta Regional Organized Crime and Terrorism Investigation Department has ordered the opening of a criminal case against the defendant (a US citizen) who was being investigated for the crime of illegal possession of narcotic drugs,” DIICOT announced. Said Deadline reported in a press release on Sunday.
“At a recital at a music festival held in the resort town of Costinesti in ConstanÈ›a County, [Khalifa] The media reported that he was “in possession of more than 18 grams of cannabis (a dangerous drug) and had consumed another amount of cannabis (onstage) in the form of craft cigarettes.”
