Fans Go Nuts As Netflix Teases ‘Peaky Blinders’ Movie

Netflix teased its highly anticipated movie Peaky Blinders by sharing the first snaps of the movie, but fan reaction proved just how big this movie is going to be.

Cillian Murphy was featured in two side-by-side images, looking slightly grayer and older in the film than in the hugely successful series. Fans are bracing for trouble that is sure to ensue “at the behest of the Peaky Blinders”!

Murphy reprises his role as Tommy Shelby and also serves as a co-producer on the film.

One of the photos showed Murphy sitting next to creator and screenwriter Steven Knight on the film's set.

“Saltburn” star Barry Keoghan will co-star with Murphy, while “Dune” alumnus Rebecca Ferguson will also appear. Tim Roth joins Netflix's star cast explained as an “epic sequel to the award-winning six-season gangster saga”.

The film is set during World War II and picks up where the long-running series left off. The drama was set in Birmingham, England from 1919 to 1934 and aired from 2013 to 2022. Marpy's character captivated audiences with its gangster script, unexpected twists and turns, and the ever-charming and powerful Shelby who outsmarted and outsmarted him. And sometimes he overtakes the enemy who intentionally becomes his ally.
