Fans were shocked after Australian breakdancer Rachel “Raegun” Gunn lost all three of her group matches at the inaugural breakdancing competition at the Paris 2024 Olympics.
In the video, Gunn, dressed in a bright green and yellow tracksuit, circles the stage to the sound of steel drums, performing a series of moves known as the “kangaroo,” before collapsing to the floor, striking several awkward poses, and crawling along the ground on his arms.

Gunn lost to players from the United States, France and Lithuania. According to According to the New York Post, the 36-year-old Australian did not receive a single vote from the judges, losing each match 18-0, who scored the pieces based on factors including technique, performance, musicality and originality.
Several social media users bombarded Gunn's performance with memes and mockery.

“I look forward to a similar level of scrutiny of what b-boys wear tomorrow,” Gunn wrote on Instagram on Friday.
Some social media users poked fun at Gunn's outfit, which stood out among the other contestants' outfits.
“Australia tricked B-Girl Raygun with this ugly outfit. Looks like she's going to ask if she wants fries too,” one X user commented.

According to the New York Post, Gunn holds a doctorate in cultural studies and a bachelor's degree in contemporary music.
