Farmers Federation endorses Caroleene Dobson in CD2


The Alabama Farmers Federation's political action committee, Alabama Farm PAC and ELECT, has endorsed Carolyn Hardy Dobson for the 2nd District of the U.S. House of Representatives.

Federation President Jimmy Parnell said Dobson's agricultural background, conservative values ​​and commitment to restoring common sense to government will appeal to members of the state's largest agricultural organization.

“Caroline is one of us,” Parnell said. “She grew up on a five-generation cattle farm in Monroe County and understands the challenges facing farmers and rural families. Caroleen's intellect and personal drive have enabled her to further her education and make connections across the country. She never forgot her roots. A National Merit Award finalist and U.S. Presidential Scholar, Dobson attended Harvard University, earning degrees in history and literature, and graduated magna cum laude from Baylor Law School. Dobson currently practices real estate law at Maynard Nexen, where he represents clients including home builders, small business owners, and individual landlords. Dobson was determined to give back to farmers and the rural way of life, and he serves on the boards of the Alabama Forestry Commission and the Southeast Livestock Exposition.
