Nuclear Servers and Influencer Realities
There’s a saying that flits around in the back of my mind. You know, when you come across something particularly troubling in the news? It makes you question humanity. It’s those moments when you realize how many issues we face stem from the internet or social media. You almost want to scream, “If only we could just… I don’t know, maybe nuke the servers?” Honestly, would the world be a better place without all this chaos?
But then, I recently encountered a story that brought me right back down to reality—my origins, in a way. It involves Lil Tay, the influencer who recently shared that she made $1 million in just three hours on a porn site. It’s wild how some OnlyFans creators can rake in huge sums quickly. This doesn’t feel like an isolated incident either. She started posting content exactly at 12:01 AM on her 18th birthday. It almost feels—what’s the word?—exploitive, considering her past. This trend of influencers flaunting their financial success right after turning 18 has become, well, almost commonplace.

The fact that she’s now considered an “adult” at 18 brings a lot of questions. People wonder—was she sharing content as a minor? If so, then, really, where were her parents during all this? You might be surprised, but her father seems pretty chill about the whole situation. Rather than being upset or taking any legal steps, he voiced to TMZ that his daughter is an adult now and capable of making her own choices. It’s, um, a thought I can’t quite wrap my head around.
He acknowledged that not everyone agrees with her choices but maintained a non-judgmental perspective. I find myself thinking, if your child launches an OnlyFans account right at 18, perhaps that signifies a parenting misstep. It’s not an easy situation to navigate, that’s for sure.
So, yeah, back to the servers. Maybe we really should consider making that the core of the issue. Or at least have a serious discussion about it.
