North Carolina Democratic Rep. Deborah Ross didn’t get the answers she was looking for Wednesday when she asked FBI Director Christopher Wray about the attacks on abortion centers.

Wray said the FBI is working closely with both the Jewish community and college campuses to ensure safety and provide information on how to respond to the events mentioned by Ross. (Related: Pro-life group warns of repeated attacks, accuses FBI and DOJ of inadequate response)
“But when you mention reproductive facilities in terms of abortion, I’d be remiss if, of course, you didn’t also point out that reverse violence has increased considerably since the Dobbs ruling.” said Ray.
“In fact, most of the investigations we have initiated since the Dobbs ruling, probably about 70%, have involved violence against pro-life facilities. We have arrested a man who was accused of
More than 87 pro-life centers have been attacked since the Roe v. Wade reversal. In May, a pro-life pregnancy center was destroyed in Florida with decapitated chickens and mutilated lambs.
Attorney General Merrick Garland has been criticized by some for prosecuting attacks on abortion clinics and pro-life pregnancy centers differently.
