Feds Raid Home Of Trump-Supporting Farmer, Businessman Alfie Oakes

Federal agents on Thursday raided the Florida home of Alfie Oakes, a businessman and farmer who is a vocal supporter of President-elect Donald Trump.

Law enforcement was seen at Oakes’ residence in the Monterey Village community of North Naples and at an agricultural packing plant in Immokalee. According to Go to NBC2 News.

The newspaper said several unmarked law enforcement vehicles were seen coming and going from Oakes’ residence throughout the morning and afternoon. Agents were observed entering through the garage and carrying boxes.

The paper said a man wearing an Internal Revenue Service (IRS) shirt was seen taking computers from Oakes’ home.

Other agencies involved in the raid include the U.S. Secret Intelligence Service, IRS, U.S. Department of Defense Office of Inspector General, and WINK News reported.

Oakes told the outlet that “everything is fine” and that he had “no idea” why his home was attacked. He then reportedly left the premises in a blue Range Rover with Trump decals on it, smiling and telling the media: “Go Trump!” (Related article: “God saved my life for a reason”: Donald Trump speaks after winning 2024 election)

Federal agents from the Defense Criminal Investigation Service (DCIS) were at the packing plant, NBC2 News reported. The agency investigates cases of fraud, bribery and corruption, including cybercrime and computer intrusion.

picture Video captured by news outlets showed Oakes entering the home as a police vehicle was parked outside. Officers reportedly arrived with a battering ram around 11 a.m. while Oakes’ wife and daughters were at home.

“I came around the corner here and I heard, ‘Open the door,’ and that’s all I actually heard. I don’t think they kicked the door in. That’s what I heard. “I think his wife let them in,” Oakes’ neighbor told the publication.

The Florida Highway Patrol secured the scene for other law enforcement agencies, the outlet reported.

Oakes is the founder and CEO of Oaks Farms and Seed to Table Supermarkets. He made headlines in 2021 for defying COVID-19 mandates by banning the wearing of masks in stores.

“It’s a complete waste of money,” Oakes said. NBC News at that time. “What if we shut down the world because of heart attacks? Why not shut down cities because of heart attacks?”

Mr. Oakes most recently served as Collier County Republican State Committeeman from 2020 to 2024.
