Sedona News – The Sedona International Film Festival will be screening movies on the move with its new “Movies on the Move” mobile movie truck and outdoor cinema experience.

The next event of the summer will be on Tuesday, July 16th at Hillside Sedona, where they will bring the hit musical “Mamma Mia!” to the big screen. The showtime will be at sundown (approximately 7:45-8:00pm).

Bring your lawn chairs and family and friends to enjoy a “Starry Night Movie” under the stars on the festival's giant outdoor screen equipped with state-of-the-art projection and sound. Movie fun awaits at the festival's mobile concessions.

You can dance! You can jive! You can have the time of your life! Come sing along to catchy tunes like “Dancing Queen,” “Take a Chance on Me,” “Honey, Honey,” and more!

Oscar winner Meryl Streep leads an all-star cast including Pierce Brosnan and Colin Firth in a musical celebrating mothers, daughters and fathers, true loves lost and new.

Donna's (Streep) daughter, young Sophie (Amanda Seyfried), sends out wedding invitations to three men after reading her mother's diary and suspecting one of them could be her father. But who is it? When all three men (Brosnan, Firth, and Stellan Skarsgård) arrive at the wedding on the sunny Greek island where Donna runs a hotel, Donna panics as the passion she thought she had suppressed has returned. To get through it, she'll need the help of her two best friends (Christine Baranski and Julie Walters) and, of course, a lot of ABBA songs.

“Mamma Mia!” will be performed outdoors at Hillside Sedona (671 State Route 179) at dusk on Tuesday, July 16. Seating begins at 7 p.m. Please bring lawn chairs. Free parking is available at Hillside Sedona.

Tickets are $7 each and children 12 and under are free.
