Film Festival presents ‘The Girl With the Needle’ premiere Jan. 10-16

sedona news – The Sedona International Film Festival is proud to present the Northern Arizona premiere of “The Girl with the Needle” from January 10th to 16th at the Alice Gil Sheldon Theater.

Caroline, a young factory worker, struggles to survive in post-World War I Copenhagen. Unemployed, abandoned, and pregnant, she meets Dagmar, a charismatic woman who runs an underground adoption agency and helps mothers find foster homes for unwanted children.

With nowhere else to turn, Caroline takes on the role of nanny. A strong bond forms between the two women, but Caroline’s world falls apart when she stumbles upon the shocking truth behind the job.

Inspired by a true story and directed by Magnus von Horn, The Girl with the Needle is an unsettling story about a woman’s struggle to find love and morality.

“The Girl With the Needle” will be performed at the Alice Gill Sheldon Theater from January 10th to 16th. Show times are Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, January 10th, 11th, 12th, and 13th at 6:30 p.m. and Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, January 14, 15, and 16 at 3:30 p.m.
