Alabama Crimson Tide’s Recruitment Surge
The Alabama Crimson Tide’s head coach, Calendar Boer, has been actively boosting the team’s recruitment efforts lately, securing numerous five-star commitments on an almost daily basis.
Currently, Alabama leads the nation in five-star pledges for the 2026 recruiting class, moving into the top ten nationally after adding nine recruits in June alone.
It’s not just the Crimson Tide fans who are noticing this upswing.
During a recent segment on “Morning McKelloy and Kubrick,” SEC analyst and college football commentator Paul Feinbaum compared Boer’s recruitment strategies to those of the legendary Nick Saban.
Paul Feinbaum noted, “Frankly, this is one of the great recruiting runs we’ve seen in a few years. This feels like Nick Saban is running the ship again when it comes to recruiting; it’s vintage Alabama.”
Feinbaum further reflected, saying, “I think there are a lot of folks who, two and a half years ago, doubted Alabama would bounce back in this manner. But this likely bodes well for the future of Alabama football.”
On Wednesday, Boer secured another five-star recruit, Cederian Morgan, a standout wide receiver from Benjamin Russell, adding more strength to the class.
Recent weeks have brought a brighter outlook for Tuscaloosa, with Morgan joining other high-profile recruits, including five-star running back Esavier Crowell, five-star linebacker Xavier Griffin, and four-star tight end McSutter.
