Flagstaff won Thursday’s contest six times in a row (stretching outperforming his opponents by averaging 36 points), gaining even more momentum. They enjoyed a cozy 59-44 victory with the Prescott Badgers. They were the second time they were able to beat them this season as they won 53-40 in January.

It was Carter Edison and Sunshine Begdy who led Flagstaff to victory. Edison went 12-7 on the way to 17 points, while Begdy went 7-7 towards 18 points. Also, due to the dominant performance, Begoody gave her a new career best in shooting accuracy (78%). Teagan Martin was another key player, bringing 16 points and 3 steels.

Flagstaff worked as a unit and finished the game with 16 assists. Prescott only got eight assists, so they easily outperformed the opponents in that division.

Despite the loss, Prescott still got an impressive performance from Bella ABT, who dropped a double double on 21 points and 15 boards. ABT evening played seven games in a row, earning at least 20 points. Another player that makes the difference was Addie Prisciandaro, who went 15-6 to score 15 points and 5 rebounds.

Flagstaff’s victory pushed their record 21-6. These wins are due to their offensive performance throughout that stretch, as they averaged 66.2 points in those games. As for Prescott, their losses reduced the record to 19-6.

Flagstaff has already played their next match, winning a 62-30 victory with Coconino on the 10th. As for Prescott, they’ve also wasted time back on the court and are already playing their next game. It was a 53-47 victory over Mingus on the 11th.
