Starting June 13th, the City of Flagstaff will begin blocking recently paved road sections in various locations throughout the region.
The project includes High Country Trails, Blackbird Roost, Riordan Road, Grandview Drive, Walgreen Street, McCracken Circle, Steves Boulevard, Gemini Road, Latrobe Circle, La Costa Lane, La Quinta Way, and Seals Way. of roads will be scraped and will be finished by June 20th, weather permitting.
The public should anticipate traffic impacts near these locations, including temporary traffic restrictions, noise and dust during construction. The city will try to maintain access to businesses and residences.
The work is part of the city’s 2023 Street Maintenance Program, a 20-year dedicated sales tax for road repair and street safety projects approved by Flagstaff voters in 2014, Proposition 406 – Road Repair and Funded by the Road Safety (RRSS) Initiative.
