CFSA is a collaborative effort that reflects the commitment and support of people committed to establishing a sustainable and equitable food system.

“The report serves as a tool to develop policy and investment strategies that address key barriers and leverage existing strengths to improve public health, promote community building, and increase the capacity of local food systems to better serve the needs of residents. These findings are essential for integrating sustainable food systems into policy guiding plans such as the Flagstaff Carbon Neutral Plan and the 2045 Regional Plan.”

Community engagement is essential to this process because it fosters creative partnerships, brings diverse voices into the decision-making process, promotes equity, and advances community-driven goals.

All community members are invited to join the next phase of this project to foster a sustainable, resilient and equitable food system in Northern Arizona for the benefit of all. For more information and how to get involved, please visit: Learn more.
