Winning is always great, but doing so behind a season high score is even better (please ask Flagstaff). They were a clear winner for Lee Williams volunteers on Saturday with a margin of 18-2. The Eagles may be used to big wins this season as their team has won more than 10 games in six games.

Mia Garcia splashed as she hit and pitched. She pitched four innings and gave up on a run that ran five hits twice (and one unfortunate); Additionally, she posted three strikeouts. She was also solid in the batter’s box, making her a perfect 2-for-2 with four RBIs.

In other batting news, Flagstaff ran Harry Watkins and Riley Alex on Wild. Watkins rode the bass and scored four runs in three of his four plate appearances, while Alex scored four runs and rode the bass in all four plate appearances. This is the most run that Watkins posted in March 2024. Another player that makes the difference was Haley Cody, who won three runs and stole the bass in two of his four plate appearances.

Flagstaff has always had someone on the base and has finished a game that posted an OBP of .657. The team is really improving in that area. They are currently improving their OBP totals in four consecutive contests.

Flagstaff has been performing recently as he has won five of his last six games. This provided a great bump for the 7-5-1 record this season. The victory was thanks to their hit performances on that stretch. As for Lee Williams, their loss was the third straight on the road, lowering the record to 5-12.

There will be a lot of interregional action soon. Flagstaff is scheduled to challenge familiar enemy Bradshaw Mountain at 3:45pm on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Lee Williams will face rival Prescott at 3:30pm on Tuesday.
