The City of Flagstaff and its contractor, Eagle Mountain Construction, are inviting you to attend the Beulah/University Realignment Project community open house meeting. The meeting will be held on Thursday, March 2 from 5:00 to 6:30 pm in the Flagstaff City Hall Lobby and Council Chambers at 211 West Aspen Avenue.
Open house meetings provide an opportunity for community members and business owners to review design plans, ask questions, and learn more about upcoming improvement projects. Please note that no official announcement has been made. Residents can stop by at any time during the exhibition period.
Scheduled to begin in early April 2023, the project will consist of extending the current Beulah Boulevard north to what is now University Avenue and building a roundabout at the new intersection. The current University Avenue has been reorganized east of the new roundabout to coincide with University Drive east of Milton Road. In addition, the project will construct a pedestrian underpass just north of the intersection of Milton Road and University Drive (between Burger King and Target). Finally, the project will include improved stormwater infrastructure and larger sewer and water pipes throughout the project corridor.
