I can’t believe this week is already celebrating July 4th. I’m flying this year.
It’s nice that the fourth falls on Friday this year, so you don’t have to worry about it being too late to see the fireworks.
There are many fireworks shows around the state, but I wanted to highlight the interesting event happening in Flagstaff: the drone show.

Drones pose far less wildfire risk than fireworks, making them a safe and unique alternative for the area.
I’ve never seen a drone show, but they look really cool. I’ve seen people defend them with fireworks. Because with the reduced risk of fire, they don’t cause a major boom that can become a problem. Pets and People with PTSD.
Flagstaff’s free 25-minute show kicks off around 9:10pm.
