Oh boy…
All of Florida is currently awaiting Category 5 Hurricane Milton, which is expected to make landfall Thursday night. But even though it’s still in the Gulf of Mexico, the historic storm is already causing problems for the Sunshine State. The Cardinal Gibbons High School football team (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.) took to Twitter to show how its home stadium is holding up from the early fallout it received from Milton. As you can see in the video below, it is completely flooded from the rain that has already fallen.
Hurricane Milton is set to hit Florida 2:00 a.m. (Eastern Standard Time)it looks like the biggest impact will be on the west coast of the state (which is where I live, yay!), but more specifically the Tampa Bay and South Suncoast areas.

Crazy stuff.
For real-life Hurricane Milton coverage, follow me on Twitter. My analysis and predictions were 100% accurate and I was placed in Category 5 faster than anyone else (twice).
Like early Tuesday (my first Cat 5 prediction happened Saturday, two full days before anyone else predicted it at that level):
BREAKING NEWS: Hurricane Milton has nearly regained Category 5 strength after an eyewall replacement cycle. Because this is the case, and the Gulf hydrothermal waters are still moving through and the pressure is dropping again, we expect to see an upgrade to Cat 5 within the next 30 minutes.

Update: Hurricane Milton is again designated as Category 5 in my model, but I’m still waiting for an official announcement from the NHC for a while. https://t.co/8jR3XV04j3
