It is also allegedly that Weiss held the record of female students characterized by sexually personality content.
Weiss’ alleged crime was investigated by police on the Michigan campus and returned to Scheme Recler Hall, the school where Weiss worked. After the investigation, Weiss took administrative leave a few days later before being eventually fired by Michigan.
In January 2023, Weiss’ Ann Arbor House was searched by police for what was originally branded as a “computer crime.”
US lawyer Julie Beck has issued a statement addressing Weiss’ investigation.
“Our offices will move aggressively to prosecute computer hacking to protect our citizens’ private accounts,” Beck said. “We are ready to bring along with our law enforcement partners to bring people who illegally and justly infringe on other people’s privacy.”
