Former MLB Star Greg Swindell Pleads For Help To Find His Missing Daughter

Former MLB pitcher Greg Swindell posted a statement on Facebook asking for the public's help in finding his missing daughter.

Swindell is A heartfelt post John McGregor took to social media on Sunday to inform fans that his daughter Brenna, a single mother of three, went missing on Thursday in the Austin, Texas area and hasn't been heard from since. John McGregor posted a photo of Brenna and said he was deeply concerned that Brenna's ex-boyfriend was in trouble with the law for allegedly assaulting Brenna in July.

“Her cell phone is off and she has no contact with family, friends and most importantly her children,” he wrote.

“Her ex-boyfriend in the photo has an outstanding arrest warrant and is violent so if you have seen or heard from either of them please let us know,” Swindell continued.

The former pitcher, who helped the Arizona Diamondbacks win the 2001 World Series, released a description of his daughter's car and said he had filed a missing person's report with police.

“Blaenny, if you see this we all love you so much and want you to stay home!” Swindell wrote.

In his update, Swindell expressed the urgency of the issue.

“I don't know if she went with him of her own accord, was persuaded to run away with him, or there is some other reason. Still, I would never expect her to abandon her three children or run off without an explanation, so I feel she is in danger until proven otherwise,” he wrote.

Swindell updated his post as new developments emerged.

“They were spotted together Thursday night and we were able to get a GPS for the fallen soldier who is currently in Colorado. Both of their cell phones appear to be there, but they are both turned off.”

Swindell posted another update: “All we know about the vehicle is that it passed through Leader, Colorado on the evening of Friday, January 25th. DPS is working to the best of their ability. The GPS is not on and the cell phone is not on so it is a science to where the vehicle is at this time,” the update read.

The search for Brenna is ongoing and anyone with information regarding her whereabouts is asked to contact police.
