Former “Suits” star Patrick J. Adams on Thursday shared the first mini-review of Taylor Sheridan's upcoming “Yellowstone” spinoff series, “The Madison,” and he says it's pretty damn good.
Adams will join the “Yellowstone” world as investment banker Russell Mackintosh in “The Madison,” which seems like a far cry from his previous starring role. According to Deadline, Mackintosh is portrayed as a man who basically just does what he's told and follows “the path of life that's been laid out in front of him” — presumably by his family.
Adams Erupted Speaking to Entertainment Tonight about the opportunity to work with Sheridan, a highly sought-after position for anyone working in Hollywood, he continued: “I couldn't be more excited. The people involved are truly a dream team,” he said.
Filming on the first “Yellowstone” spinoff (which is separate from the prequel series “1883” and “1923”) has not yet begun, but Adams said he just drove his van to Montana before moving in late September. (RELATED: Forgotten 'Lost' Star Matthew Fox to Star in 'Yellowstone' Spinoff 'The Madison')
Details about the script itself are scarce, but we do know that his character won't have to go to Sheridan's infamous cowboy boot camp…for now.

With filming set to begin in Montana in the coming weeks, the story will likely take place in late fall and winter, giving Sheridan another great opportunity to tackle the harsh northern winter.
