WINSLOW, Arizona — A former Winslow High School wrestling coach has been charged with 14 counts of sexual misconduct against a woman since 1993.
Daniel S. Larsen, 40, was indicted by a Navajo County grand jury on October 18 on 14 counts of sexual misconduct with a minor, child abuse, dangerous crimes against children, and child solicitation. I was.
Between August 2021 and May 2022, the Navajo County Sheriff’s Office received reports from four women that Larsen had sexually abused them. The alleged crimes reportedly occurred between 1993 and her 1999 in the Winslow area, which is within Navajo County jurisdiction.
In June, a 23-year-old woman reported being sexually abused by Larsen, a resident of Winslow, between 2014 and 2017. When this allegedly happened, the woman was a student and attending Winslow High School, while Larsen was a wrestling coach and working for the school district.
