Fort Yuma Rotary hosts Pars Under The Stars

YUMA, AZ (KYMA, KECY) – Fort Yuma Rotary hosted the Pars Under The Stars tournament on Saturday, April 15th.

The tournament was held from 5pm to midnight at the Desert Hills Par 3 Golf Course and featured glow-in-the-dark golf balls. This tournament is one of many fundraising activities for back-to-school shopping, scholarships, and nonprofits.

Before the tournament began, participants had a dinner served with burgers and beer. Saturday’s event was also a very special occasion. Fort Yuma is his 61st birthday in his roundabout.

“We are celebrating a birthday at this event. Together with all who join us today, we celebrate the many years the Rotary Club of Fort Yuma has done in our community. We are committed to doing things that really make a difference in our communities,” said Huang Guzman, a member of the Rotary Club of Fort Yuma.
