A 4-year-old boy reportedly died Monday afternoon after falling out of his New York City apartment window.
According to reports, a child fell from a fourth-floor window in East Flatbush, Brooklyn just after 2 p.m. ABC7 new york. Witnesses were reportedly shocked to see the boy. Police said the child’s injuries indicated a fall from height. (Related: Report: Two Babies Found Dead in Nursery Toilet)

Witnesses said strangers rushed to the scene to “take him where he needed to be.” CBS news. Witness Nashona Harvey said, “This is terrible, just awful.”
The boy was rushed to Kings County Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. A medical examiner will determine the cause of the 4-year-old’s death, according to ABC 7.
An investigation has begun to find out how the boy fell and whether a window fence had been installed. NBC New York report.
