A chilly morning in the Valley with highs in the low 60s.
phoenix – These temperatures (afternoon high and morning low) are among the coldest in years. On the morning of January 24, Phoenix officially dropped her down to 35 degrees. This is the lowest temperature since February 2020.
A cold wave will continue from Tuesday to Wednesday morning. Freeze Warnings for parts of the Valley, including Avondale, Deer Valley, Scottsdale, South Mountain/Arwatsky, and the entire East Valley, are in effect from 12:00 AM to 9:00 AM Wednesday. By 9am, a severe cold warning will be in effect again for most of Pinal County.
Highs should rise from the late 50s to near 60s on Wednesday afternoon.
Plenty of sunshine will continue throughout the state through Saturday. However, the temperature will drop slightly. Thursday will warm up to the mid-60s in Phoenix with refreshing gusts of 25 to 30 mph. Temperatures on Friday dropped slightly thanks to the previous day’s northeast gusts. More warmth is expected over the weekend, with afternoon temperatures in the mid-60s. Afternoons will warm up, but morning lows will drop into the low 30s by Saturday morning.
A chance of rain returns in Arizona next Monday through Tuesday.
